Installation for STRAAT (street art museum in Amsterdam)

The metal shutter shipped from Beirut, is an informative work about the darkness of wars in general, and a participatory installation of hope.
Hope through participation:
The visitors' engagement transform the dark gray metal into a colorful one through messages they write for countries in war.
These messages will be read and documented initiating workshops that will take place together with artists living in war zones.
The workshops will lead to keywords which will be painted on walls with holes, in the artists respective cities.
Photographs of these murals and tags will be exhibited at the street art museum again, and all the sales of the pictures goes to humanitarian aid NGO’s.
